My only daughter, age 30, was murdered on December of 2007 in her condo. Her little girl was found unharmed in her crib. As of this date, the detectives have a suspect, but need concrete evidence to make an arrest. A week after I buried my daughter, the biological father came and took the child away from me. He had limited visitation when my daughter was alive because of his lifestyle. He is on his second girlfriend since January and has smoked pot around this child and his other child. He is very revengeful because he was not raised by his mom, who was a crack addict, and is a very controlling person. He has this little girl intimidated, has three different females in her life, and lives in with his girlfriend and her son at different times. He will not allow me or the grandfather to see or speak to our granddaughter, whom we have had a relationship since birth. I have to take him to court just to see the child. This has been very devastating to my family, losing my daughter, and then him taking her away from us without any compassion for our daughter’s death. My daughter wanted me to raise her daughter. Presently, we are not sure whether he is involved in her death. I need a miracle from God that the Killer be brought to justice and we are allowed a relationship or custody of my granddaughter so that she can be raised in a Christian environment instead of the pot smoking, drinking friends, that she is in now.
